To make their customers’ experience easier, Walt Disney World announced on Tuesday Lightning Lane Multi-Pass and Single Pass, a re-branded service for those looking to skip the line and book their favorite park rides ahead of time.

For years, the House of Mouse developed a service called Genie+, a ticket add-on system that allows guests to buy tickets on a desired day and return to a specific attraction at a certain time, skipping the mile-long lines.

With a Lightning Lane Multi-Pass, Disney visitors can select up to three attractions and choose the times they wish to enjoy them, all before their scheduled park day. Once a customer uses a Lightning Lane Multi-Pass, they can use the My Disney Experience app to make additional selections on the day of their visit. This feature provides a bonus for parkgoers who want to utilize an extra Lightning Lane pass if available.

A Lightning Lane Single Pass allows Disney visitors to choose a specific time to enjoy an attraction of their choice. With the new updates, guests can select their desired attractions and times before their park visit. Customers can purchase up to two single passes per day.

Whether opting for a Multi-Pass or a Single Pass, parkgoers can look forward to less time spent in lines and more time enjoying the magic of Disney.
