With less than a month until Ahsoka premieres, the Star Wars social media channels are hyping the series up. Now or Never focused exclusively on Ahsoka, showing clips of the series that had not yet been seen. “Masters and Apprentices” features clips from the range of Star Wars live-action shows and films.

At one minute long, it starts with narration from Yoda, with his “only two there are” line from The Phantom Menace. Showing pairings of master and apprentice from across the franchise, such as Luke and Grogu from The Book of Boba Fett and Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon Jinn from The Phantom Menace, clips from Ahsoka appear throughout. Yoda also has the closing narration, taken from The Last Jedi.

RELATED:

The theme of masters and apprentices is an important one with Ahsoka, since we know that the two villains of Baylan Skoll and Shin Hati are one pairing the series will focus on. As for the other, Sabine calls Ahsoka master. The two might have been split for several years, but there still seems to be respect there. There is also likely a third pairing being hidden in the marketing. After all, this series will focus on what happened to Ezra Bridger.

Starring Rosario Dawson as Ahsoka and Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Ray Stevenson, Ivanna Sakhno, Diana Lee Inosanto, and Lars Mikkelsen will also play roles within the series. Ahsoka will premiere with two episodes on August 23 on Disney+, with a new episode arriving every Wednesday up until October 4.
