A Fan Leaked The First Trailer For 'Star Wars: The Acolyte' During Celebration London
The first day of the Star Wars Celebration in London just wrapped up. One of the biggest panels of the day was the Lucasfilm Showcase panel, which showed trailers from a variety of upcoming projects. One of these trailers shown was of the upcoming Disney+ series The Acolyte. This was the first trailer for the upcoming show, and gave fans a glimpse as to what we can expect when the series premieres sometime in 2024.
The trailer begins with some younglings in a Jedi temple. They are given instructions by an older Jedi, who appears to be played by Lee Jung Jae from Squid Game. He continues to narrate throughout the trailer, and we see a variety of different characters. There is a fight between the characters played by Carrie Anne Moss and Amanda Stenberg. We also get a glimpse into the lightsabers used during this time, and see some Jedi igniting their lightsabers in unison and even a glimpse of a golden blade.

The exact plot of the series still remains a bit of a mystery, but the footage shown at Celebration gives fans a good idea of what this series is about. The show will supposedly focus on the emergence of the Sith, a group of Dark Jedi who are determined to conquer the galaxy. The cast has described it as a mix between Frozen and Kill Bill. One of the most important quotes from the panel, however, was “This is about power and who is allowed to use”, which can give fans a glimpse about what to expect in this upcoming show.
The Acolyte is set to premiere sometime in 2024 on Disney+.
