2024 Crunchyroll Anime Award Nominees And Presenters Announced

With Awards Season in full swing, Crunchyroll has started to announce details pertaining to this year’s Anime Awards, including the nominees in every category as well as its high-profile presenters.
Alongside hosts Sally Amaki and Jon Kabira, it was recently announced that rapper Megan Thee Stallion will be a presenter at the 2024 Crunchyroll Anime Awards in Japan. For any not in the know, Megan Thee Stallion is an outspoken anime fan who’s made many of her favorites known through interviews, and various concerts and photo shoots, dressing up as characters like Death the Kid from Soul Eater, Todoroki and Miruko from My Hero Academia, and Sailor Moon (this anime needs no introduction). Joining Megan Thee Stallion as presenters are J-Pop singer LiSA, fashion model Aquaria, award-winning actress Iman Vellani, and more.

In addition to this roster reveal, all nominees for the Crunchyroll Anime Awards were revealed as voting went live on their website. The nominees include anime from Fall 2022-Summer 2023, with multiple studios, genres and styles present. Though, without a doubt the biggest studio in the running is MAPPA, having the most nominations with Chainsaw Man, Vinland Saga Season 2, Hell’s Paradise, Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 and Attack on Titan Final Season The Final Chapters Special 1.
