Jennifer Walters is known in Marvel comics as both a superhero and super-lawyer. With Abomination getting a lot of traffic this week from She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, fans have been speculating about other people that could be represented by Walters or some of her legal adversaries. SPOILERS AHEAD.

4. Frog-Man (Leap-Frog)

Frog-Man (Leap Frog)

Marvel Comics/ Disney+

The She-Hulk trailer features several brief appearances from some notable comic book characters, including Titania (Jameela Jamil) and Abomination (Tim Roth). A character shown in the trailer but not yet seen in the episode is Frog-Man, or Leap-Frog, or one of the Patilios—we’re not really sure! In the comics, Eugene Patilio is the son of the ill-fated supervillain Vincent Patilio, who invented a set of coils that allowed him to jump up to six stories in the air. Vincent, who dubbed himself Leap-Frog, ended up in prison. Eugene found his father’s old suit and coils, he decided to make up for his family’s past by becoming the superhero Frog-Man. Eugene’s Frogman has helped out Spider-Man, the Avengers, and other heroes and teams. So, it’s unclear if the froggy-suited individual will be playing a role in the courtroom or if he will be added in as plot line C.

3. Daredevil / Kingpin / Captain America

Since we’ve last seen him, Matt Murdock has donned a new suit in the She-Hulk trailer. Murdock, also known as Daredevil, is every Marvel fan’s other favorite superhero/ lawyer. With these two lawyers, we know that Walters and Murdock are set to go to court in the series soon. The last we saw him in the MCU was in Spiderman: No Way Home as Peter Parker’s lawyer. Between this and King Pin’s cameo in Hawkeye, it is clear that Marvel has big plans to link Daredevil comics to coming Disney+ shows like Daredevil: Born Again, Echo and Thunderbolts. Could Murdock reach out to Walters to help him in a case against Fisk? Perhaps GLK&H is representing Fisk! It wouldn’t be the first time Murdock and Walters faced off in court. In the She-Hulk #4 comic, Walter defends and Murdock persecutes Steve Rogers. While it’s unlikely that we will be getting a Chris Evans cameo, Jen’s obsession with Steve’s relationship status in episode one would be the ultimate foreshadowing moment!

2. Wrecking Crew / The Hood

At the end of Episode 3, Walters had a run-in with a motley crew of thugs wielding Asgardian construction tools as weapons. These are the Wrecking Crew, although, their origin stories differ from the comics. The four members include Wrecker, Bulldozer, Thunderball, and Piledriver From the episode, it seems like their mission was to extract She-Hulk’s blood. It’s unclear who they are working for, but theorists have speculated it could be Parker Robins, aka The Hood, who will be played by Anthony Ramos in the MCU’s Iron Heart. While this episode sets up the Thunderbolts as antagonists, it’s unclear if this fight will take place inside or outside of the courtroom.

1. X-Men / Mr. Sinister

Mutants have been officially canon in the MCU. From Professor X in Doctor Strange to the X-Men musical cue playing under Bruno’s mention of mutants in Ms. Marvel, the X-Men are on the rise. In Episode 2 of She-Hulk, Wolverine was teased in a news article on Walter’s computer titled “Man Fights with Metal Claws in Bar Brawl”. It would certainly be a crowd-pleasing moment for Jen to represent one of the OG mutants. Moreover, the Wrecking Crew trying to steal Jen’s Hulk-blood sounds a lot like Mr. Sinister’s M.O. in the X-Men series. Dr. Nathaniel Essex, aka Mr. Sinister, was a brilliant Victorian-era scientist who was obsessed with deterministic interpretations of natural evolution, predicting the emergence of mutants. Essex has worked with Titania and the Wrecking Crew in the comics Further, he used stolen blood from the X-Men to gather DNA in hopes to create the perfect human race. This story could be perfectly adapted into She-Hulk’s storyline with the crew trying to steal her blood at the end of Episode 3.

Other theories around potential characters She-Hulk could feature or introduce include Starfox/ Eros (Harry Styles’s character in the Eternals post-credit scene), Kristoff Vernard (Doctor Doom Jr.), Cain Marko (Juggernaut). All three have been big-name clients of Jennifer Walters in the comics and it wouldn’t be too far-fetched to see all these characters return or be introduced in coming shows and movies like Secret Wars, Fantastic Four, and Captain America: New World Order. In any case, She-Hulk’s potential clients and adversaries could be a Hulk-Smash into the future of the MCU.
