4. The Extent Of The Timeline
The entirety of the Andor series will take place over the five years immediately preceding the events of 2016’s Rogue One. Season One will cover the events of the first year of those five years; Season Two will cover the events of the following four years.
3. We’re Going To See Familiar Worlds As Well As New Ones
Since the series covers Cassian Andor’s character development as well as the development of the Rebellion, the series will have viewers visiting familiar worlds as well as discovering new ones. Worlds we will see might include Cassian Andor’s now destroyed homeworld of Fest; worlds we will definitely see include Ferrix, where Andor now lives with his adoptive family, and Coruscant, the capital planet of the Galactic Empire.
2. We Will See Both New And Familiar Faces
Plenty of characters will be making return appearances in Andor, like Chandrilan Senator and eventual Rebellion leader Mon Mothma; alongside Andor’s story, we will see Mothma’s development into the Rebellion leader everyone is familiar with. We will also see the return of Forest Whitaker's character of Rebel Saw Gererra. New faces to expect include Denise Gough ad Dedra Meera, Stellan Skarsgard as Luthen Rael, Adria Arjona as Bix Caleen, and Anton Lesser as an Imperial Officer.
1. People Should Keep Their Minds Open
As fans know, Star Wars is an expansive fandom, stretching over multiple mediums; people have fallen in love with a whole host of characters. They also hold many existing aspects of the fandom dear to their hots. Combining that with the fact that we already know how the story of Cassian Andor ultimately concludes, fans have a lot of expectations for how this new series will fit into the timeline. Ultimately, fans should keep an open mind. They should wait and see how showrunners will make Andor a distinctive stand-alone series while at the same time fitting it into the larger narrative.
Andor premieres on September 21st on Disney+.
