Who is Durge?

Who is Durge from Star Wars, you ask? Well, the short answer is a near impossible to kill bounty hunter. In fact, this guy managed to live for around two thousand years. To quote Durge himself; “"I was once buried alive—for 60 years! If that didn't kill me… if the Sith and the Mandalorians and the Bloodboilers of Kragis couldn't kill me—then you will not kill me." In other words, this Gen’Dai with a lust for hunting and love of money was not one to trifle with.
Durge was trained by fellow bounty hunter, Jaing, in the Mandalorian combat style. Following Jaing’s death allegedly at the hands of the Madalorians, Durge vowed vengeance on Mandalore itself and swore to kill all Mandalorians he possibly could. Over time, he became increasingly mentally unstable. He eventually got hired by Count Dooku to fight with the separatists which allowed him to fight against the clones of Jango Fett and the Jedi. The Mandalorians eventually contained him by torturing and burying him for more than sixty years.

Per Legends, when approached by a doctor and offered cybernetic modifications both Jaing and Durge agreed to the procedure. The operation was a success as their armor’s were successfully merged to their bodies. Due to his genetic makeup, Durge’s body was continuously attempting to heal over the modifications. This silver armor with red and blue accents came complete with a bola and multi-barrelled rifle. Additionally, he stood exceptionally tall adding to his intimidation factor based on appearance alone.
According to Wookieepedia, canonically speaking Durge “debuted in Doctor Aphra (2020) #10, written by Alyssa Wong and pencilled by Ray-Anthony Height. Durge was originally introduced in the Star Wars Legends continuity in the fifty-first issue of the comic series Star Wars: Republic, written by W. Haden Blackman, illustrated by Tomás Giorello, and published by Dark Horse Comics on March 19, 2003. He was created by Lucasfilm Ltd. as part of the Clone Wars multimedia project to be a new and memorable bounty hunter antagonist who could challenge the Jedi, designed by the Skywalker Ranch Art Department and named by Lucasfilm employees, whereas Blackman wrote his backstory and personality” (Wookieepedia-Canon).
To give a clear idea on the level of skill in combat this fella processed and how hard to kill he was, in an episode of the Star Wars Clone Wars 2D Micro Series fans witness a memorable faceoff with none other than Obi-Wan Kenobi. The Jedi Master barely holds his own but gets two, count them two…lucky should have been fatal blows, yet this monster lived. One strike was his lightsaber stabbed straight through Durge’s midsection. The other had the saber slice him in half at the waist.
To answer the question, how does he die – Anakin Skywalker sometime later uses his signature move of force choking an opponent to incapacitate Durge and then launches the bounty hunter into a star.
