Young 'Star Wars' Fan Goes Viral For Practicing Famous Music From The Movies On The Saxophone
Star Wars has been an inspiration to many generations of fans, moviegoers, filmmakers, writers, special-effects artists, and artists of every type. Film genres of every kind, from cartoons to other sci-fi movies, have paid tribute to the lasting effects of Star Wars. There are so many parodies of Star Wars that some can be ranked ahead of the rest.
The music is as iconic as anything else, too. John Williams’ scores have earned Oscars. There’s no debating the importance of Star Wars music when even the great Weird Al makes music for the franchise.
Music reaches even the youngest of audiences. A video clip has been posted by Tara Reed to the Twitter account @TaraMom23Boys in recent days that went viral in a hurry. The video is a clip of her son playing the saxophone to the tune of Binary Sunset song on the A New Hope soundtrack.
The music swells during the famous shot that shows Luke Skywalker emerging from his hut on Tatooine, then staring off in the distance at the twin suns off on the horizon. It is a scene that, since then, has been mimicked in Revenge of the Sith, the Sequel Trilogy, and even The Clone Wars.
The tweet was posted Wednesday, Sept. 28, and in less than two full days, the video has garnered nearly 13,000 views. For context, a video Reed posted a few days prior only had 33 views.
No word yet on whether his next musical number will be to the tune of the Imperial March. Perhaps one day this kid will learn enough instruments to perform his own Star Wars musical, as this guy did.
