Ahsoka is a successful addition to the growing line Star Wars series on Disney+. The tale of the former Padawan of Anakin Skywalker has made many fans ask questions and come up with theories. The latest theory revolves around a device known as the Eye of Sion. It is a massive hyperspace ring which the villains, led by Morgan Elsbeth, hope to use to bring Grand Admiral Thrawn back to the known galaxy from a far off place called Peridia. Perhaps they seek to bring more than just the Grand Admiral back as well, perhaps they plan to bring his whole ship as well.

In the days of the Old Republic, the Jedi used hyperspace rings to travel to distant planets. They were able to attach their ships to them to travel long distances as their craft themselves were not fitter with hyperdrive engines.

If the Eye of Sion has been designed to be a hyperspace ring then it must be able to attach something to it.

When Thrawn was sent to another galaxy he did not go alone, his entire ship, the Chimaera, was taken as well. While it has been speculated that Thrawn will seek to return to the known galaxy, he would no doubt want to come back with the Chimaera if it was not.

The Eye of Sion looks large enough to be a attached to a Star Destroyer. With the powerful engines that it seems to have, it could in theory take the Chimaera along with Thrawn back to the known galaxy. Returning with the Chimaera, Thrawn could begin to rebuild his armies and reunite all the fractured Imperial forces.

Everyone awaits the return of Thrawn. The Chimaera is of course one of the most iconic bits of Thrawn lore so to not have it return with him would be a shame. The Eye of Sion may well facilitate the return of the Chimaera.
