Marvel Fan's Reaction To Adorable 'I am Groot' Moments
I Am Groot is a series of five short films from the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. They are only four minutes each (including credits), but they pack a lot into each episode. Groot is a nearly indestructible tree-like creature who only ever says, “I am Groot.” The shorts follow the (mis-) adventures of Baby Groot, the small and spunky version of the character introduced at the end of the first Guardians of the Galaxy movie, as he explores the world around him. It is funny and sweet in a way that the whole family can enjoy.
Groot’s First Steps - Groot, still living in his pot, gets into a kerfuffle with a bonsai tree. In their struggle, the pots break, and Groot learns to walk. Groot realizes that the bonsai is not his enemy and the two become friends.
The Little Guy - Groot discovers a colony of tiny blob-like people. He unknowingly torments them until they fight back. One of Groot’s leaves falls off. Leaves are their food. Groot gets them more food, before inadvertently stepping on the colony.
Groot’s Pursuit - Groot investigates a mysterious noise on the ship. He finds a mimic creature who says, “I am Groot.” Then, there is a dance battle to settle the matter.
Groot Takes a Bath - Groot takes a mud bath which causes luxurious leaves to sprout all over his body. He then experiments with different styles until all the mud is gone.
Magnum Opus - Groot makes an elaborate picture of the crew, but severely damages the ship in the process.
