Marvel Fan Reacts To 'Thor: Ragnarok'
Thor: Ragnarok is the third entry into the Thor franchise. With Chris Hemsworth returning as the titular character for a different sort of adventure. At the onset of the movie, Thor is held hostage by Surtur, the fire demon, who explains that Odin is no longer on Asgard. Thor swiftly defeats Surtur and returns home, only to find Loki posing as their father. After Loki's deception becomes apparent, Thor enlists his brother's help in finding Odin. When the pair catch up to their father, Odin explains that he is dying. After he does, Thor and Loki's sister Hela will be free from her prison.
Odin dieswith his two sons beside him, and shortly thereafter Hela appears. She destroys Mjolnir in an act of strength and defiance. As Loki and Thor flee back across the Bifrost Bridge into Asgard, forcing them out into space. After this, she singlehandedly conquers Asgard While her brothers find themselves on a strange planet. Separated from Loki, Thor is captured by a scrapper and given an obedience disk to help the scrapper keep him in line. She then sells him to Sakaar's ruler, The Grandmaster, who uses Thor as a gladiator. Thor will have to escape his imprisonment and return to Asgard to stop Ragnarok and Hela from destroying his home.
