It was just the first season all along! And they’re changing the focus character too! It’s been known for a while now that Kathryn Hahn will reprise the role of Agatha Harkness that she played in WandaVision back in 2021.

Debra Jo Rupp said of the series, “It’s the second season of ‘WandaVision’ for Marvel. It’s very much like ‘American Horror Story,’ where each season is a whole new kind of a thing. I was shocked when they called me, because I really thought that would be it, and I was fine with that. But when they called, I got so excited because it’s a character I never get to play. She’s gonna be great fun.” She then continued with, “This I can tell you: I am basically the same person that I was in ‘Wandavision,’ Mrs. Hart, but in a different kind of a thing. We’ve shot in LA, and I’m packing now as we speak, to go to Atlanta for two months to continue shooting.”

House of Harkness will release at the end of 2023 or sometime during 2024, although due to the strikes going on in Hollywood, there might be further delays. It will star Aubrey Plaza, Joe Locke, Patti LuPone, Miles Gutierrez-Riley, Okwui Okpokwasili, Sasheer Zamata, Ali Ahn, Maria Dizzia, Debra Jo Rupp, Emma Caufield, David Payton, David Lengel, Asif Ali, Amos Glick, Brian Brightman, and Kate Forbes.
