Update On 'Hazbin Hotel' Season Two

Hazbin Hotel is going from strength to strength. Season one has broken streaming records for Prime Video. It currently has the highest global viewership for a new animated title on the platform. Audiences and critics have given it praise, rating it around 85% on Rotten Tomatoes in both categories.
It’s no surprise that Amazon is rushing to make a second season. Erika Henningsen is best known for originating the role of Mean Girl’s Cady Heron on Broadway. Now she heads the cast of Hazbin Hotel as the Princess of Hell, Charlie Morningstar. Henningsen let the cat out of the bag that season 2 was in production by posting a recording studio picture with the caption ‘We’re back and I couldn’t be happier’, also tagging the show.

After the pilot became a viral hit, fans had to wait ten years to see more of its existential humor. But eventually, Prime Video and studio A24 picked it up and ran with the zany adult animated series. If you’ve not seen it yet, the plot follows a cast of demons as they attempt to be redeemed while living in Hell, but the angels have other ideas. This isn’t Creator Vivienne Medrano’s first foray into the underworld. She was also responsible for the cult series Helluva Boss, which ran for two seasons.
All eight episodes of Hazbin Hotel are now available to stream on Prime Video.
