'The Owl House' Series Finale Gets New Trailer Ahead Of April Debut
A trailer for the series finale of The Owl House has dropped, teasing an epic and suspenseful finale for the fan-favorite animated series. Titled “Watching and Dreaming,” the final episode of the three-episode special will conclude the adventure of our protagonists.
The second season left off with our heroes facing their personal struggles. Luz tried to return to her home realm, Eda the rebellious witch confronted her curse, and King explored his past. The teaser made multiple references to the end of the show, such as “This is the end.” being sung in the background.

Created by Dana Terrace, this horror-comedy show tells the story of Sarah-Nicole Robles’ Luz Noceda, a teenage Dominican-American human girl who accidentally takes a portal to the Demon Realm called the Boiling Isles. There, she meets new and unusual friends, including Alex Hirsch’s King and Wendie Malick’s Eda Clawthorne, who will grow to become her new family.
Despite its gripping plot and its charming animated features, The Owl House has been canceled by Disney after a three-season run. In October 2022, Terrace revealed the reason why the show had been canceled:
“At the end of the day, there are a few business people who oversee what fits into the Disney brand, and one day one of those guys decided [The Owl House] didn't fit that 'brand."
The Owl House Seasons 1 and 2, as well as the first two episodes of Season 3 are now available to stream on Disney+. The final episode will premiere on April 8 on Disney Channel and Disney XD.
