Seth Rogen is now a television producer. He is one of the executive producers of The Great Canadian Pottery Throw Down. This is quite a departure for Rogen who is known mainly for raunchy comedies like Superbad and Sausage Party as well as this summer’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem. It turns out that the Vancouver native is an avid amateur potter himself. Rogen said, “Point Grey and I are excited to be part of a fresh series that enables artists to tap into their craftsmanship and express themselves through pottery. As a fellow Vancouver native and potter, myself, I am looking forward to seeing incredibly talented artists show their skills this season.”

Rogen is also going to be a guest judge on the show alongside main judges Brendan Tang and Natalie Waddell. Jennifer Robertson will be the host. The show is based on the UK’s The Great Pottery Throw Down. Rogen’s production company, Point Grey Pictures, will be producing with Frantic Films and the CBC. CEO of Frantic Films said, “Landing two incredible judges, the wonderful Jennifer Robertson – and of course, Vancouver native and worldwide superstar Seth Rogen has made this a dream project.” The Great Canadian Pottery Throw Down is set to debut on the CBC in the Winter of 2024.
