The First Footage From The Upcoming Live-Action 'Snow White' Movie Has Been Released
Rachel Zegler and Gal Gadot introduced the first footage from the upcoming live-action Snow White movie to the D23 audience at the Honda Center. The teaser opens with Zegler’s Snow White looking ahead with her forest friends at the dwarves’ cottage in a meadow, followed by a gray screen with text reading “Disney Invites You.”
The teaser shows Gal Gadot’s transformation from the fairest in the land, Evil Queen, to an old witch as she puts on her crown while gazing at her reflection and saying the iconic “mirror, mirror” line. Deadline quotes Gadot on her role in the film as Evil Queen, describing the character as “evil, magical, delicious.”

The footage briefly introduces Snow’s seven mining protectors while giving the audience a taste of Zegler’s melodic pipes as the songbird croons and dances with the dwarves in their cottage to the tune of “Whistle While You Work.”
Joining Zegler and Gadot in the cast is Andrew Burnap as a character named Jonathan and Ansu Kabia in the role of the Huntsman. This live-action adaptation of the original 1937 animated classic retelling of the Brothers Grimm fairy tale was penned by Barbie film writer Greta Gerwig along with Erin Cressida Wilson and Dorothy Ann Blank, with Marc Webb directing.
