The long-awaited Fantastic Four reboot is finally in production, and following the San Diego Comic-Con, fans have an official title and confirmed cast. Additionally, what appears to be drone images of the UK-based set have been shared via X, suggesting a 1960s-era NYC.
By map, New York is adjacent to landmarks the fandom speculates are the Baxter building, Fantasticar launch pad, and RKO PALACE. One post on X is simply labeled as “a small town,” which could be Ben Grimm’s neck of the woods on Yancy Street.
Marvel Studios announced at SDCC that the title of the film will be Fantastic Four: First Steps and will star Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm/Invisible Woman, Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm/Human Torch, Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm/The Thing, Ralph Ineson as Galactus, Julia Garner as Shalla-Bal/Silver Surfer, with Paul Walter Hauser, Natasha Lyonne, and John Malkovich in undisclosed roles.
