The CW Released A Minute-Long Version Of The 'Superman & Lois' Season 3 Trailer
Remember last month when The CW released spots for both Superman & Lois and Gotham Knights? Well, that initial spot was only 30 seconds, which felt rather short for what was labeled a season trailer. On Wednesday, the network released a full minute-long version, titled “As a Family” in the public version with a ten-second end card.
What’s new in this extended version? Well, it starts with the whole family in the Fortress of Solitude, which is a great start. The previous season ended with Clark (played by Tyler Hoechlin) setting up the new Fortress for them, and so he gets to introduce them to his mother. Great to see it be used as intended. Even gives us our best look at Michael Bishop as Jonathan. Clark commends Jordan on his flying getting better and tells him to fly home from the Fortress. He seems to be having a blast doing so. However, he can’t bring himself to talk to Sarah at a town event. In the sea of plot points from the shorter version, Lana (Emanuelle Chriqui) has signed the divorce papers, and the scene between Jonathan and Jordan does get to include Natalie all suited up and apparently recruited for something.

The parts of Lois (Bitsie Tulloch) getting sentimental about being a mom, taken in needing rescuing from the facilities with John Henry’s help, the guys having to get through it as a family, and a separate incident with a collapsing building, all amidst her possibly being pregnant? That’s all still in this version, as is whatever loud thing causes ears to be covered. Superman & Lois’s third season premieres March 14 at 8 PM.
