While the directors for Ahsoka have yet to be announced, one of them seems to have confirmed their involvement early. Steph Green, who previously directed an episode for The Book of Boba Fett, has returned to the Star Wars universe for this upcoming mini-series.

With a profile update to Instagram, Green has included Ahsoka between HBO’s Watchmen and her short film New Boy. Fans have noted that Green is also following several cast members of the show, including Rosario Dawson and Natasha Liu Bordizzo (who are playing Ahsoka Tano and Sabine Wren, respectively).

Green has a broad range of projects on which she has previously worked, including Netflix’s Luke Cage, Amazon’s The Man in the High Castle, and Showtime’s The L Word: Generation Q. Peter Ramsey, co-director of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, has also been confirmed to be directing at least one episode.

Helmed by Dave Filoni and executive produced by himself, Jon Favreau, and Kathleen Kennedy, Ahsoka will tell the story of the hunt for Ezra Bridger. Having made a risky move at the end of Star Wars Rebels to save his home of Lothal from Grand Admiral Thrawn, the two have been trapped in the unknown regions for years. Bridger has been confirmed to be appearing within the series, portrayed by Eman Esfandi, along with Hera Syndulla, Chopper, and Hayden Christensen’s return as Anakin Skywalker.
