'Star Wars: Skeleton Crew' Get Release Window
When it comes to Star Wars, the franchise has been lacking in the film department in the last few years, however, they have been pushing full speed ahead when it comes to their shows. There is a ton of content for fans to enjoy, which includes the final season of The Bad Batch, which recently aired, and the upcoming High Republic show, The Acolyte, which releases in June. Fans can expect new seasons of Andor, The Mandalorian, and Ahsoka, but those are still a ways away. However, another Star Wars show currently in development is Skeleton Crew, and it may be coming out sooner than we thought.
During an interview at CCXP, Director Jon Watts revealed that the show should be released around Christmas. Not much has been revealed regarding the plot, but we know that it tells the tale of four children, who make a startling discovery on their home planet that leads them to get lost on a mysterious journey, in a dangerous, vast galaxy. Jude Law, a cast member of the show, has said that it’s “more than just a kid’s show”.

Skeleton Crew is set to take place during 9 ABY, or after the Battle Of Yavin. It also takes place right around the time of The Mandalorian. It is unknown if Din Djarin or Grogu will make a cameo, but there’s a strong possibility that Skeleton Crew may want to stick to its own characters, instead of relying on cameos.
Skeleton Crew is set to arrive on Disney+ around Christmastime.
