Ever since Timothy Zahn landed on the New York Times Best Sellers’ list with his Thrawn trilogy in the early 90s, novels have been a large part of Star Wars lore for the most dedicated fans. Coming soon, there will be a new wave of novels for fans to read. Quite possibly the most exciting is the upcoming novel Star Wars: Master of Evil.

The popularity of Darth Vader will likely never die. The Sith Lord, who has been one of the most popular characters in all of fiction since 1977, will have a large number of chapters told (pun intended) in Master of Evil. Readers will learn about what the Sith apprentice did between the end of Revenge of The Sith, when he first donned his full mechanical suit, and A New Hope, the still iconic movie that started it all. Written by New York Times best-selling author Adam Christopher, this movie will excite anyone who loves the series’ most iconic villain.

Other upcoming books include Doug Chiang's The Cinematic Legacy and Doug Chanig's The Star Wars Legacy, both of which describe Doug Chaing's works. There is also Star Wars: I Find Your Lack Of Candy Disturbing, a Star Wars-based Halloween book, The Art Of Star Wars: The Acolyte, detailing art and designs from the titular show, The Acolyte Visual Guide, Star Wars Blueprints, and Star Wars: Women Of The Galaxy.

All books mentioned in this article will be released later this year.
