‘She-Hulk’ Pushes Back Premiere Date On Disney+
As we enter what some may call the dog days of summer, any piece of news that comes across regarding big picture items will be scrutinized continuously until the next bit of information shows up. Disney and their two tent poles, Marvel and Star Wars, seem to enjoy a wave of relative peace and calm compared to the DC and WB universe. Fans are undoubtedly enjoying the high experience from the recent San Diego Comic-Con, where a clear vision of the MCU was shared and where we find ourselves building towards for years to come.
The next big release on the MCU front is She-Hulk: Attorney at Law starring Tatiana Maslany, the Canadian actress previously of Orphan Black fame, as the titular character Jennifer Walters, attorney-at-law and her struggles and trials (pun intended) of becoming a super-hero and just a regular girl. Initially scheduled for release on Wednesday, August 17, it was announced that the premiere would be pushed back one day to Thursday, August 18. Studios typically move premiere dates around, so there is no surprise, but with two Star Wars projects, Andor and season 2 of The Bad Batch, about to overlap with She-Hulk, this is probably a good idea.
A comment made on the internet is that Ms. Marvel suffered from some publicity and viewership because it premiered every Wednesday along with Obi-Wan Kenobi, which was obviously the bigger draw for most people. So perhaps, seeing the error of their ways, have decided to make Thursdays the MCU release day and Wednesdays for Star Wars.
