Set Photos From 'Spider-Man 3' Show Tom Holland And Zendaya's Characters Together On Set

With the premiere of WandaVision on Disney +, Phase Four of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is officially launched, creating more expectations of what is going to happen after the events of Avengers: Endgame, the death of Tony Stark, and the retirement of Steve Rogers as Captain America. But the most anticipated movie of the year from Marvel is Spider-Man 3.

As we know thanks to the post-credit scene in Spider-Man: Far From Home, the identity of Spider-Man (Tom Holland) has been made public. When Peter and M.J. (Zendaya) were swinging by the buildings of New York, they finished their “trip” and landing in the street in front of a big screen. Then they watched a breaking news segment of J.J. Jameson (J.K. Simmons) blaming Spiderman for the catastrophe in London and revealing the real identity of Spider-Man, turning Peter Parker into public enemy number one.

Now, the site Just Jared showed the first pictures from the set of Spider-Man 3 in Atlanta.

In This sequence of pictures, we see Peter Parker walking very nervously with a paper in hand, like he is looking for an address, in a snowing day, seemingly setting it around Christmas time. Then he enters a store that looks like pastry store, when M.J. is working, to talk with her. 

In another post, from the user @Cosmic_Marvel, there is a video shared from the Daily Mail, where Peter is seen walking, very nervous, from the same scene. And after that, he is leaving the store with a cup of coffee.

In this video sequence, we see him walking through the people, and nobody recognizes him. Now, if we consider the end of Far From Home, where his identity is exposed, this is where the speculations from the fans started to circulate. Some speculate that perhaps we are watching scenes from another universe where M.J. doesn’t know Peter or his identity as Spider-Man.

All of this speculation happens amidst rumors that Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield are joining Tom Holland Spiderman, as their Spider-Men of the Sam Raimi films and The Amazing Spider-Man films. Also,  there have been reports of Jamie Foxx returning as Electro and Alfred Molina returning as Dr. Octopus. Other rumors say that Matt Murdock, AKA Daredevil (Charlie Cox) will also appear in the film as a Peter Parker's lawyer.

Producer Kevin Feige has said that Spider-Man 3 is going to be connected to WandaVision, Dr. Strange The Multiverse of Madness, and Loki. And in 2019, he said,

"It'll be fun to see Spidey back in his element, out of the shadow of Tony, out of the shadow of the other Avengers, as his own man now, as his own hero. And yet now facing his own challenges that aren't coming from Avengers fighting, like Captain America: Civil War, or aliens coming, like Avengers: Infinity War or Avengers: Endgame."

With all of these speculations and the secret shooting in Atlanta, these photos are like a gold for fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe who have been waiting to see what happens with the Avengers after the battle with Thanos and Steve Rogers traveled back in time to return the Infinity Stones. With the releases of Black Widow, The Eternals, and Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings this year, fans are waiting for the final result of Spider-Man 3 and what is going to happened next with MCU, but we all have to wait until December 17 of this year when Marvel and Sony release the movie.
