A new Sonic-related trademark has just been discovered: Sonic and Friends. The title appears to be for another game in the Sonic the Hedgehog series, as it is filed under many similar categories to other video game trademarks, including Machines and Appliances, Toys, Clothing, Paper, and Education and Entertainment. Below is a screenshot of the trademark in question.

It also mentions "commodity service programs for home-use television game machines" in addition to magnetic tape, floppy disks, and ROM cartridges. Though the trademark is clearly for a new game, it is unknown at this time what this new title may entail. It could very well be the new Sonic mobile game SEGA Hardlight was said to be working on. There is also the possibility of this being a new spin-off title, perhaps a party title featuring, well, Sonic and Friends. This trademark could literally be for anything at this point. Whatever it may be, we're sure to find out about it in the coming months. For now, we still have Sonic Superstars to look forward to, which speeds onto all major platforms on October 17th of this year, in addition to the new Knuckles show on Paramount+ and the final update for Sonic Frontiers.
