Reddit Theory Suggests [SPOILER] Could Take Control Of Avengers Tower
Ever since the end of Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2017, Marvel fans everywhere have been begging to know the answer to one question. Now obviously, this movie raised more than just one question, what happened to Liz? Will we ever get a flashback to the day Peter got bit? When will MJ learn Peters secret? Among these questions, some got answers in future Marvel projects. Yet surprisingly, we still haven't gotten an answer to what could be the biggest question to come from Homecoming. That question is "Who bought Avengers Tower?" Some theories have been going around that could shed some light onto this situation.
*Spoilers for Hawkeye and Venom: Let There Be Carnage*
A popular theory suggests that Avengers Towers becomes the famed Baxter Building of the Fantastic 4. Much of this theory stems from the Marvel/Fox Acquisition that saw Marvel Studios reobtaining control of their properties. The in-universe selling of Avengers Tower seemed like it lined up perfectly with the activities in the real world for the Fantastic 4 to be the next inhabitants at the former Avengers Tower. Beyond this simple connection, this theory hasn't gained anymore traction to seem promising. However, it would be cool to see Ben Grimm, aka The Thing, moving into Banners old room and seeing damage left from the Hulk's residency.

Another theory that is making the rounds on the internet is the Oscorp theory. This theory seems unlikely as the amount of confusion it would give to the general audience. In the post credit scene of Venom: Let There Be Carnage, we see Eddie/Venom get transported to the MCU (supposedly from Dr. Strange magic in No Way Home) to the time when Peter's identity is revealed by J. Jonah Jameson. This is important to this theory, as the Oscorp theory states that Norman Osborn gets pulled from the Raimi-verse and gets inserted into the MCU around the time of Civil War, and slowly starts to rebuild his empire there, until the events of No Way Home arise and he finally steps out of the shadows.
One reddit theory offers up yet another possible answer as to who the mystery buyer could be. In Episode 3 of Hawkeye, we finally get another mention of the Tower being sold since "moving day" in Homecoming. The viewers are also introduced to the shadier, less super powered, criminal underworld of the MCU. The theory goes onto to state that Kingpin has purchased the building formerly known as Avenger Tower, now renamed Fisk Tower, and is using it as his headquarters, while controlling the Tracksuit Mafia. Upon digging farther into the theory, it is speculated that during the Blip, Kingpin was able to use that time to secure his seat of power in the underworld. Sometime after the events of Endgame, he finds out about time-travel and hears the story of how everyone was brought back. He becomes obsessed with acquiring one of the time-watches the Avengers used in Endgame so that he may go back in time and attempt to save his wife and daughter from a tragic accident.
One final theory worth mentioning is the Kang theory. Ever since Season 1 of Loki wrapped, a theory has been popping up occasionally claiming that Avengers Tower becomes Qeng Tower, which is owned by a Variant of Kang the Conqueror. A slight nod to Qeng Tower can be seen in Loki when the audience sees "our Loki" go to the Void towards the end of the season.
Hopefully soon the current owner of Avengers Tower will be revealed. its been 5 years since the purchase, and its about time we find out who bought it, and who could possibly afford to buy it from Tony Stark.
