Good news for Kaiju fans! Everyone’s favorite, 70-year-old, radiated dinosaur has found a new streaming home on the free Pluto TV streaming platform. Just in time for the Fourth of July weekend, Pluto TV will stream 33 feature films, along with the 1998-2000 made-for-television series Godzilla: The Series. Before now, being able to watch all the Toho Gojira/Kaiju movies was very hard for American audiences;  you would have to mix and match streaming services, look for the ones released on DVDs, and, in the cases of Godzilla Vs. Biollante (1989) and Godzilla Vs. King Ghidorah (1991), almost impossible to find. Now, with Toho International teaming up with Pluto TV, many of these iconic films will be easier for people to watch.  The official channel description reads as follows:

“The King of the Monsters has made landfall on Pluto TV! Emerging in 1954, Godzilla has become a global icon and symbol that has transcended time and pop culture. After debuting as a terror that descended upon Tokyo, Godzilla has fought numerous foes and gained new allies over several distinct eras. While each film stands alone in its own moment in time, the evolution of Godzilla followed advancements and film and technology along with cultural trends, yet always staying rooted in the origins from 1954. Today, fans can celebrate one of the world’s most renowned entertainment characters with the Godzilla channel collection and experience their favorite movie moments from the never-ending clash between kaiju and humankind.”
