Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith will have a theatrical re-release from April 25 to 27. However, it appears that another piece of Prequel material is set to return to the spotlight.
An Amazon listing mentions a Deluxe Edition of the Revenge of the Sith novelization scheduled for release on October 14.
Neither the cover for this book nor if there will be any changes or additions are known to date, but the Amazon entry mentions a page count of 448, which is notable, as the original book had only 418 pages. Still, this could be just a typo or a placeholder.
The description of the book reads:
A deluxe edition of the novelization for the final film in George Lucas’s epic Star Wars prequel trilogy
Based on the story and screenplay by George Lucas, bestselling author Matthew Stover’s Revenge of the Sith novelization captures the iconic characters of Star Wars in all their complexity and brings a space opera masterpiece full circle. The pivotal final steps of Anakin Skywalker’s fall to the dark side, the end of the Republic, and the rise of the Empire are rendered in stunning style.

The Episode III novelization was originally published on April 2, 2005, more than a month before the premiere of the film. While it follows the events of the movie in most aspects, there are some notable differences: While the Battle of Kashyyyk is completely absent from the book, it explains that Yoda traveled to the Wookiee planet to lure the Sith Lord out of his hiding.
The Battle between Anakin and Dooku and the events on the Invisible Hand are much longer than in the final film.
The book also does a great job explaining the inner struggle of Analin, his desire to protect Padma, and his feelings after he fell to the dark side.
The duel between Sidious and the Jedi is longer than in the film, with Anakin arriving at Palpatine's office at the moment Kit Fito is killed.
Yoda tells Obi-Wan that he has learned to communicate with Qui-Gon Jinn, General Grievous' cough is absent from the book, as is Obi-Wan's famous line "Hello there", to name just a few differences.
Overall, Mathew Stover's book, which was later collected into the so-called DarkLord trilogy with James Luceno's Labrinth of Evil and Dark Lord - The Rise of Darth Vader, enriches the story of the arguably best film of the Sequel Trilogy even more.
It remains to be seen if the Lucasfilm publishing panel at the Star Wars Celebration in Japan will reveal further details and a cover of this Revenge of the Sith Deluxe Edition.
