Star Wars Celebration is on the way and with it, many fun panels are on the way for event in the Galaxy Far Far Away. With this in mind several new panels may or may not be dropping, depending on what Lucasfilm is doing, and that means new information about various projects and other fun things will be happening. One of them might be a certain set of Tales, Tales of the Jedi.

Yes, Tales of the Jedi, not the comic book series, but an up and coming animated anthology of shorts most likely about the Jedi (obviously). Star Wars Celebration is just under 30 days away and there has been a ‘Tales of the Jedi’ panel announced along with it hosted by Amy Ratcliff and Dave Filoni hosting.

Star Wars Celebration released the official panel schedule this afternoon and fans were quick to pick up that a certain previously unannounced project was going to be featured on a panel on Saturday May 28th 2:30-3:30pm.

Since it appears the Star Wars Celebration panel Page is nowhere to be found online this may have been a mistake on Lucasfilm’s part.

This is the very first time we have heard about the project, even with the ‘leaked’ tease of the rumored project back around December 2021 with the Lucasfilm holiday gift featuring the logo on the side of the box.

Very little is known about the project but that is of course what celebration will be all about at the end of the day. It will be exciting to get new shorts, since Anthology is a place where Star Wars really has yet to tap its fullest potential. Though what Jedi they talk about will be hard to say. Perhaps a mix of original and classic.
The name Tales of the Jedi comes from the classic comics of the 1990’s by Tom Vietch who created a story set in the ancient times. The Jedi after all are the guardians of peace and justice in the Old Republic, before the Dark Times, before the Empire.

Jedi are some of the most epic characters to tell stories about in all of Star Wars, from the way they use the force to the feets they are behind. Hopefully will see all sorts of Jedi, from Luke, to Anakin and maybe even Rey herself.

As of now these pages panels have been taken down by Lucasfilm since it seems like this was an accident. Of course people have already posted the panel announcement on twitter and it has already spread like wildfire.

Celebration is almost here, and it will be exciting to see us come together in joy in that galaxy far far away.
