Netflix Releases Trailer for 'Masters of the Universe: Revolution'
Fans of the iconic He-Man and the Masters of the Universe franchise got a first look at the latest upcoming animated series from Kevin Smith, Masters of the Universe: Revolution with a new trailer and poster from Netflix.
Masters of the Universe: Revolution, is a sequel to the 2021 miniseries Masters of the Universe: Revelation, also created by Kevin Smith. Revelation served as a spiritual sequel to the original He-Man series from 1983, which saw Teela (voiced by Sarah Michelle Gellar in Revelation, and Melissa Benoist in Revolution) and a ragtag band of heroes and villains going on a quest to save their homeworld of Eternia after a battle appears to claim the lives of both He-Man (voiced by Chris Wood) and main antagonist Skeletor (voiced by Mark Hamill). Revelation’s bold direction came as a shock to many longtime fans of the series, but wove together a narrative unlike any other iteration from the franchise, redefining the kinds of stories that can be told through this series.

Revolution puts Prince Adam aka He-Man front and center, and the trailer sets up intense battles against a tech-infested Skeletor, as well as the debut of this continuity’s Hordak (voiced by Keith David) and his Evil Horde. Revolution promises to be a series that will challenge Prince Adam in new ways as he has to choose between living his life as King of Eternia, or as He-Man.
Masters of the Universe: Revolution begins streaming on Netflix on January 25th. Masters of the Universe: Revelation is also available for streaming on Netflix.
