There are two types of people in this world: people who think that The Terminator is a slasher movie with robots, and those who are wrong. Since the release of the first film in 1984, people have been fascinated by the terrifying, skeletal robots that travel back in time to hunt the leaders of the resistance that will eventually destroy the main defense A.I. network: Skynet. Terminator 2: Judgement Day was also met with great critical acclaim.

The other countless films in the series… not so much.

Now we’re going to experience more of our favorite killer robots. Netflix is releasing an anime series on August 9th 2024, AKA, Judgement Day in the series. According to Netflix's official synopsis,

2022: A future war has raged for decades between the few human survivors and an endless army of machines. 1997: The AI known as Skynet gained self-awareness and began its war against humanity.
