Some of the details cannot be formally announced yet, “One thing we need to touch on involves the strike in Hollywood involving actors and writers. And it's due to that that we cannot make any announcements today on that front.” English anticipated the thoughts of some fans without giving too much away, explaining, “Some may ask, ‘Does this perhaps infer that there’s going to be a universe being launched of Warrior Nun, which could expand into films and TV series following characters that we already know?’ The answer to that question is yes. And there will be more details in the future.”
Plot details or a release window can’t be given at this time; what is known is that the films will continue to be based on the Ben Dunn comic character’s universe. Warrior Nun follows a teenage orphan who wakes up in a morgue, discovering new powers and her future fate with “a secret sect of demon-hunting nuns,” according to IMDb. While you wait for the films, the entire series can be streamed on Netflix.
