‘Modern Warfare 3’ To Launch This November

A new teaser trailer for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III dropped to announce the game will be released on November 10. Platforms for the third installment are yet to be announced. Sledgehammer Games is leading the production, making this the first Modern Warfare title that Infinity Ward hasn’t made. However, Infinity Ward is assisting with the development. 

The trailer doesn’t reveal very much in the way of details, but dialogue from Shadow Company Phillip Graves is heard saying, “Never bury your enemies alive.”

There isn’t much more to the trailer, but we know Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III will see the return of proper slide canceling after a subtle teaser to previous Call of Duty influencers. A number of leaks have revealed key art and new weapons. This third installment will continue the story from the second game, with Task Force 141 returning to action to end Makarov. Watch the trailer below:

Microsoft is currently working towards purchasing Activision Blizzard and the entire Call of Duty series; however, the deal has yet to be finalized. The trailer does not announce any particular platforms for the game, but Microsoft did sign a deal with Sony to keep the franchise on the PlayStation platform.
