Marvel Studios Released The Theme Song For Upcoming Animated Series 'Moon Girl And Devil Dinosaur'
The theme song for Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur was revealed during New York Comic Con. This comes several months ahead of the series premiere. Actress and singer Diamond White, who voices the titular character, performs the song. It is titled Moon Girl Magic, produced by 3-time Grammy Award Winner Raphael Saadiq.
The song uses upbeat major chords and a steady rhythm to set the energy up for the show. It also gives a glimpse into the main character’s life. Based on the Marvel comics, the story follows 13-year-old genius Lunella Lafayette as she defends her home with the help of a 10-ton T-Rex, who is brought into the mix accidentally. You can listen to the theme song below.
The song reveal dropped with another news piece: the series was renewed for a second season before its release. The casting is also available, including Fred Tatasciore as Devil Dinosaur, Libe Barer as Lunella’s best friend/manager, and Jermaine Fowler as Lunella’s dad. The show's executive producer, Laurence Fishburne, is also meant to play a recurring character.
Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur is set to release on February 10th, 2023, on Disney Channel. Shortly after the television premiere, it will be available for streaming on Disney+.
