Marvel Studios just released a new look at their upcoming film Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. The new trailer titled “Long Live Wakanda” teases more footage of the movie’s much anticipated antagonist, Namor (Tenoch Huerta). The short teaser shows Namor to be a formidable opponent, as he strikes an airship out of the sky with his staff. “Without the Black Panther, Wakanda will fall,” he warns.

The trailer also focuses on those left in the wake of T’Challa’s death. After news broke that Marvel would not recast the superhero after Chadwick Boseman’s passing in 2020, there has been rampant speculation over who would take up the mantle of Black Panther. Popular fan theories point to either T’Challa’s sister Shuri (Letitia Wright) or love interest Nakia (Lupita Nyong’o) as logical choices for his successor. Both are featured in the trailer with Shuri, dressed in mourning clothes and holding T’Challa’s helmet, and Nakia suited up in new armor. Fans are also treated to a new shot of Riri Williams (Dominique Thorn) gearing up for a confrontation with Namor in her Ironheart suit.

Ross), Danai Gurira (Okoye), Michaela Cole (Aneka), Mabel Cadena (Namora), and Florence Kasumba (Ayo), with Ryan Coogler returning to direct the film. The promotional materials released so far suggest that fans are in for an emotional, action-packed adventure.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever hits theaters on November 11.
