Marvel Has Announced Their New York Comic-Con Panel Schedule, Here's What You Should Know

With the new phases on the horizon, fans are ecstatic for all things Marvel. The upcoming New York Comic-Con promises to be an exciting event for fans of all ages. This event is scheduled for Thursday, October 6 through Sunday, October 9, sponsored by Target, with multiple opportunities for free giveaways, subscription offers, comic books with variant covers, and merchandise available for purchase on site as well. For fans who want to be in the know but are unable to attend in person, have no fear. Per Marvel.com: “Marvel Digital Media will be conducting around-the-clock coverage of all the biggest stories and breaking news at New York Comic-Con on social media. For exclusive livestream coverage, fans can watch on Marvel.com, YouTube, Twitter, Facebook and Twitch.”

Attendees will have the chance to visit Marvel Entertainment booths and are sure to enjoy Marvel mystery games, drawings, trivia, giveaways, and exclusive signings for Captain America: Cold War, Miles Morales: Spider-Man, Dark Web, Ms. Marvel, and Demon Wars! There will also be a cosplay contest, Marvel Becoming Kids Costume Event, and much more!

Entertainment panels will give fans an in depth look into Captain America: Cold War, Books of Future Past, and a special spotlight entitled Marvel’s Voices, where fans get to know the creative minds and creators of their favorite Marvel characters and worlds throughout the Marvel Cinematic Universe. There will also be a panel on the Next Big Thing in Marvel Comics, which is expected to delve into Dark Web: X-Men, Mary Jane & Black Cat, Amazing Spider-Man, and more. The event concludes with a girl power panel titled Women of Marvel: “The Women of Marvel return to New York! Writer, editor, and podcast host Angélique Roché will lead a lively discussion with Marvel talent including Digital Media Executive Director Ellie Pyle, Senior Editor Lauren Bisom, Women of Marvel podcast co-host Judy Stephens, and writers Eve L. Ewing, Stephanie Phillips, and Erica Schultz! What is it like for women working in the industry today, and what is next for Marvel’s woman-led titles? And don’t miss a special giveaway at the end of the panel!”
