Marvel Finds Their Writer For ‘Avengers: The Kang Dynasty’ In Jeff Loveness
Marvel has recently found the writer that will pen the script of one of the most anticipated movies of 2025, Avengers: The Kang Dynasty. According to Deadline, the script of the next Avengers movie after Avengers: Endgame will be written by none other than the writer of the upcoming Ant-Man and Wasp: Quantumania, Jeff Loveness.
In Quantumania, Paul Rudd’s Ant-Man and Evangeline Lilly’s Wasp will face a new foe: Kang the Conquerer, played by Jonathan Majors. According to new footage shown at D23, Scott Lang will undertake a task for Kang, who abducted Cassie Lang to blackmail the hero. In addition, this movie will re-introduce us to the Quantum Realm, which has been a big mystery since its introduction in 2015’s Ant-Man and will introduce new characters such as MODOK and Bill Muray’s Krylar.

Given how slippery this villain is in the comics, we can only assume that Kang’s role in the Multiversal Saga will be as big (if not bigger) as Thanos’s in the Infinity Saga and will continue to disturb our heroes’ universes in future Marvel projects, including Loki Season 2 and Avengers 5, which the latter will be directed by Daniel Destin Cretton.
Ultimately, choosing Loveness as the writer for both these projects is a logical move from Kevin Feige, who specified, at D23, that Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania “goes right into” Avengers: The Kang Dynasty: “This is a big movie. It goes right into Kang Dynasty.” Moreover, Loveness wrote several episodes of Rick and Morty, a show that deals with interdimensional traveling, which will be Quantumania’s core theme.
Marvel’s Avengers: The Kang Dynasty is set to be released on May 2, 2025.
