J. Scott Campbell is once again creating a Marvel Comics anniversary cover. Campbell is no stranger to creating covers for Marvel. He has drawn milestone anniversary covers for Hulk, Thor, Spider-Man, and Ant-Man. The next comic he will be drawing for is October’s Daredevil #4 for Luke Cage’s 50th Anniversary in the Marvel Franchise. This comic will feature an exclusive cover of Luke Cage dressed in his iconic Power Man outfit. Like all anniversary editions, the cover will be available in a retro version and as a virgin cover.

Campbell commented on drawing covers for Marvel. “It’s a thrill and an honor to create cover art celebrating the anniversary of characters that have become so iconic and ingrained in our culture. I really wanted to make images that would have a visual bridge from the pulpy 4 color origins of these monumental heroes to the modern-day slick coloring and production we are now all familiar with.”
