RuPaul’s Drag Race Queen of All Queens, Jinkx Monsoon, showed off their new costume for their unnamed “major” role in the upcoming season of Doctor Who.

Donning a full-length sparkly black coat with a high collar, Jinkx gives us a hearty, yet villainous chuckle. Their collar and cathedral-style sleeves feature piano keys, bringing more questions than answers as Whovians try to figure out Monsoon’s role in the series.

Still sticking to their signature orange hair, Jinkx gives mad scientist-meets-Didi Pickles from the 90s Nickelodeon cartoon, Rugrats. As kooky as the hair looks, it still feels authentically Jinkx while also marrying the quirkiness of Doctor Who

Jinkx joins the upcoming Fifteenth Doctor Ncuti Gatwa and his new companion, Ruby Sunday, played by Millie Gibson. Debuting in 1963, Doctor Who celebrates its 60th anniversary with several specials starring fan favorites David Tennant and Catherine Tate. Showrunner Russel T. Davies also returns after leaving the show in 2009.

The role comes as Monsoon ends their record-breaking run as the first drag queen to play Mama Morton in Chicago on Broadway. They are also set to embark on their world tour, Everything is at Stake. Is Jinkx’s next move to conquer the galaxy? Guess we’ll have to wait and see.

Whovians outside of the UK and Ireland can catch the new seasons (and back episodes) of Doctor Who exclusively on Disney+ starting in November.
