Pedro Pascal Talks 'The Mandalorian' Season Three At Star Wars Celebration
This year at Star Wars Celebration Anaheim 2022, the fanbase got to meet Pedro Pascal in a live interview. The GEICO host, Anthony Carboni, announced Pedro Pascal’s Star Wars character, Din Djarin, The Mandalorian, as the “badass” babysitter of them all. This analogy refers to his relationship with Baby Yoda, Grogu. Din Djarin is the only babysitter to fend off several villains all at the same time while taking care of a child. Pedro Pascal and his character were named among world-class baby-sitters such as Claudia Kishi and Mallory Pike. Pedro Pascal’s response to the Star Wars fanbase’s cheers of acceptance and excitement was a shout-out to the crowd, “I Love You!”. Pedro Pascal’s response was a heartfelt response demonstrating his passion and satisfaction in playing the character, Din Djarin, The Mandalorian.
The interview went off into the craze about the Disney+ series, The Mandalorian. Three years ago, Anthony Carboni last interviewed Pedro Pascal. At that time, no one had any idea how big this series would become. Today, everyone must credit John Favreau and Dave Filoni on how well they have been parenting the Star Wars saga. Pedro Pascal, commented,
“We are in the hands of very, very good Star Wars parents. Umh…they…they… it’s honestly, their love and all of your love. That is basically. I say this with all earnestness. It’s exactly what’s made it what this is... THIS IS THE WAY”.
Anthony Carboni then brings up the topic of how Pedro Pascal has changed since the beginning of this series. Pedro responds to Anthony’s comment and question,
“One of the most fascinating things I think, I think that, that everyone’s gotten to discover… uh… uh… with Mando’s relationship to Grogu, the Child is that it’s Mando discovering himself and discovering his own heart, really. Um… and… and… and… there isn’t anything more exciting about learning things about yourself and to see a stoic armored character like that, to… to… discover his heart.”
Anthony Carboni mentioned that Din Djarin has really grown into a good dad. Pedro Pascal hopes that Grogu continues to grow. Season three is set to stream on Disney+ in February 2023. Pedro Pascal described his expectations for season three, without spoilers in three words, “Action… Spectacle… Surprise.” The fanbase appears to be ready for it, now the tough part, waiting to see what’s to come in season three of The Mandalorian.
