Images From The 'She-Hulk' Trailer Reveal When It Takes Place In The MCU
The trailer for Marvel’s upcoming series She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, released in June, tells us more than it shows. Besides the main character of Jennifer Walters/She-Hulk (Tatiana Maslany), the trailer also gives us the return of Bruce Banner/Smart Hulk (Mark Ruffalo). In the footage released by Marvel Studios, we can clearly see that Banner’s arm is still intact, different from how it was post-Avengers: Endgame. In the 2019 movie, Banner uses the Infinity Gauntlet to reverse Thanos’s snap, returning half of the universe’s life to existence. Unfortunately, the act severely injures Banner’s arm, making him wear a sling as part of the recovery process.
As seen in the post-credits scene from Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, he is still wearing the sling, which makes us conclude that the events of She-Hulk will take place during the five years between Infinity War and Endgame.

In Shang-Chi, we can also see the character Abomination (played by Tim Roth) back on the silver screen, first presented in The Incredible Hulk (2008). Walters is shown in the trailer visiting the Department of Damage Control’s supermax prison, where the abomination is currently held in maximum security. She will likely get involved with his case through the “superhuman law division” initiative started in her law firm.
She-Hulk: Attorney at Law tells the story of Jennifer “Jen” Walters, who, after getting injured in a car crash, receives a blood transfusion from her cousin Bruce Banner, a.k.a. The Hulk. Because of the transfusion, Walters gets powers similar to her cousin’s, like the superhero’s classical green skin and size increase characteristic. The series releases on August 17th on Disney+.
