Hasbro Reveals Vintage 'Star Wars' Merchandise Collection Just In Time For The Holidays
If you are looking for a gift for the Star Wars fan in your life, Hasbro just widened your possibilities twofold: As part of the "Star Wars: Gift the Galaxy" campaign, the toy company revealed The Black Series Force FX Elite Baylan Skoll Lightsaber for $ 249.99 and The Vintage Collection IG-12, Grogu & Anzellan action figure for $ 24.99.
But there is a catch: While both items can be preordered on the Hasbro Pulse website right now, they will only become available in the spring of 2025. So, as a present for this holiday season, you will have to rely on gift certificates, which is fitting, as Kenner (Hasbro's predecessor) also just sold mailing cards in 1977, when they could not keep up with the massive demand for Star Wars action figures.

The Black Series Force FX Elite Baylan Skoll
The former Jedi (played by the late Ray Stevenson), who believed that a war was inevitable to save the galaxy, was one of the highlights of the first season of Ahsoka. His lightsaber, like that of his apprentice Shin Hati, had an orange blade, representing his affiliation with the Dark Side while also indicating that he was not a full-fledged Sith.
Like all of Hasbo's Black Series FX lightsabers, the hilt of Skoll's weapon is detailly crafted, and the blade "ignites" with advanced LED technology. Powered by 3 1,5 Vol AA batteries, the lightsaber can emit not only the iconic activation and deactivation sound but also that of battle clashes, blaster deflects, wall-cutting sounds, and duel effects. The blade is removable, and the weapon comes with a decorative stand if you are more into presenting than dueling.
The Vintage Collection IG-12
Season 3 of The Mandalorian saw the tiny Anzellans create a "vehicle" for Grogu from the salvaged parts of IG-11. The result was called IG-12 and gave Din Djarin's other clan member not only the possibility to move more quickly and defend himself and his master more viciously but also to "speak" for the first time.
The 3.75-inch action figure comes on the typical Kenner vintage card with a transparent bubble. It includes not only the repurposed droid but also a detailly modeled little Grodgu and a cute, tiny Anzellan. Both figures can be put inside the droid.
IG-12's arms and legs offer 3-point articulation, a head that can turn left and right, and he is armed with a large blaster rifle.
