'Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3' Gets A Disney+ Release Date

There is finally news about when we can expect to see Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 on Disney Plus. Star-Lord’s latest adventure was in theatres back in May and fans have been eager to find out when they can stream the amusing MCU entry. The wait is nearly over. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will be available to watch for Disney Plus subscribers from August 2nd, 2023.

Like the previous versions, Vol.3 has a soundtrack selected for the movie by filmmaker James Gunn. Instead of sticking to one era, the music takes the audience on a tour of the 80s, 90s, and 00s. The tracks are all played on a Microsoft Zune (Microsoft's version of an iPod). The music is an excellent foil to the highly stylized cinematography that is characteristic of this series.

James Gunn has now switched sides to join DC as its creative lead. So it’s unlikely we’ll see any more Guardians movies, at least in their current form. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is the third highest-grossing film of 2023, so Marvel will feel the loss of such a popular series. But you can’t keep a good Groot down, so it’s hard to imagine that the characters won’t appear in other films in the franchise.
