Godzilla Minus One/Minus Color has finally been given a streaming platform release date! The film will be added to the Netflix catalog on August 1, 2024. It will join the original rendition, Godzilla Minus One, which has been on Netflix since June 1. It’s almost time to relive the danger and destruction of the kaiju, and if you missed it the first time, this will give you a chance to experience it for the first time.

Godzilla Minus One/Minus Color is a black-and-white version of Godzilla Minus One created to give the movie a different edge. According to director Takashi Yamazaki, “removing the color in some way increases the reality, feeling almost like a documentary and making audiences feel that Godzilla actually exists.” The crew made specific efforts while editing this version to be reminiscent of the original Godzilla (1954), working with a colorist to make it more accurate.
