Suppose you ever found yourself wanting the (virtual) experience of power cleaning various backgrounds in a manner not dissimilar to cleaning up goop everywhere as Mario in the classic Nintendo Gamecube game, Super Mario Sunshine. As strange as it may sound, you might enjoy 2022’s PowerWash Simulator from game publisher FuturLab, which gives you just that opportunity.

What started in the game as cleaning out generic places like playgrounds and rustic country mansions has expanded in recent months to include (free) DLC that lets you clean locales from popular franchises, such as Craft Manor from Tomb Raider and Final Fantasy. The first paid DLC featuring Spongebob Squarepants was also released last week, which will see you bringing your power washing to Bikini Bottom!

Due to the ongoing popularity of the game, FuturLab promises even more paid and free DLC updates, including Warhammer 40K and free seasonal content as well. PowerWash Simulator is currently available on multiple gaming platforms, including PC, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and more.
