The Last of Us is a 2013 action-adventure game developed by Naughty Dog and released by Sony. It became the biggest game launch of 2013. Ever since its release, it has received several remasters. It is also getting a TV series for HBO that will star Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey playing the roles of Joel and Ellie. The co-president of Naughty Dog, Neil Druckmann is also co-developing the show. The series officially wraps filming today.

A new photo from the show has been released. It is of Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey from an episode Neil Druckmann directed. Back in 2021, a photo was released but it was just the backs of the actors. Throughout filming, there have been various grainy images of Pascal and Ramsey but nothing as clear until now.  Druckmann promises fans that it will be "the most faithful video game adaptation to date".

During the Last of Us segment at Summer Games Fest, Neil Druckman also brought out the original Ellie and Joel- Ashley Johnson and Troy Baker. He assures fans they are going to have substantial roles and not just cameos.

I have played very little of the first The Last of Us Game, but I am so excited for the series. The photo that was released also has me, and other fans hyped. I can't wait to see the series when it comes out!
