First Official Set Photo From ‘Star Wars: Ahsoka’ Released
With two and a half weeks until the Obi-Wan Kenobi miniseries's highly-awaited release, Disney+ and Star Wars have announced what's next in line, with Star Wars: Ahsoka starting production. As such, they have released the first official photo from set: A director's chair with the show's logo on its back and a familiar black hat.

Star Wars: Ahsoka was first announced in December 2020 at Disney's Investor Day presentation, Rosario Dawson will reprise the title role of Ahsoka Tano in this spinoff of The Mandalorian, where she first appeared as the character. The character originates from the Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated series, where she was introduced as Anakin Skywalker's first and only Padawan. Like the Obi-Wan Kenobi series, Darth Vader/Anakin Skywalker is also set to appear in the Ahsoka series, with Hayden Christensen once again reprising. Unlike Obi-Wan Kenobi however, the Ahsoka series is at least envisioned as a fuller series, with future seasons not out of the question.
We'll also be getting our first live action...action for Sabine Wren from Star Wars Rebels. Of course, the entire live action television slate for this franchise has been developed by Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni, and with Filoni having ran Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Rebels, they are the two that have crafted Ahsoka's entire arc from the beginning and will continue to do so here, by fleshing out more of her story in a post-Imperial galaxy.
Star Wars: Ahsoka will premiere on Disney+.
