Ezra Miller’s Future With DC Will Be Decided After They Complete Their Recovery
The future of Ezra Miller’s DC tenure will be decided after they have completed their recovery. Newly installed DC co-head Peter Safran stated that the door remains open should they choose to return.
Star of The Flash, Miller has faced numerous arrests and abuse allegations. Recognising their harmful actions and the reasons behind them, the actor had last year begun treatment to address their complex mental issues.

In their statement, Miller said, “I want to apologize to everyone that I have alarmed and upset with my past behavior. I am committed to doing the necessary work to get back to a healthy, safe and productive stage in my life.”
At a DC presentation on Monday, Safran talked about the situation with Miller, saying that “we are fully supportive of the journey that they’re on right now.” Assuring that it would be on Miller to decide if and when they return, Safran continued with “right now, they are completely focused on their recovery. And in our conversations with them over the last couple of months, it feels like they’re making enormous progress.”
Miller has previously said that they are committed to The Flash, which likely means they will once again step into the shoes of Barry Allen for a sequel film. The first is set to arrive on June 16 after numerous delays.
