Everything We Know About Doctor Doom's Return To The Big Screen
Howard Stern may or may not have accidentally leaked information about the possibility of Doctor Doom’s return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). As Doctor Doom is a fan-favorite villain in the Marvel franchise, it is safe to say that the internet went nuts over the leak. Tidbits can still be found here and there on social media and there are many speculations floating around about which movies and/or shows could see Doctor Doom making an appearance. Could Iron Man’s Robert Downey, Jr. be Stern’s acting coach? One social media post suggests that Stern may have asked RBJ for advice regarding working with Marvel Studios.
The Direct reported that Stern could be playing himself as a journalist interviewing Doctor Doom, which plays into the Books of Doom storyline. Many speculate that the well-known shock-jock is perhaps playing an elaborate prank. Only time will tell for sure. Doctor Doom lends well, however, to the ever-advancing phases of the MCU and could fit along several storylines in both six-part Disney+ series releases and the big screen as well.

Doctor Doom is a villain with reach. He could certainly play the Big Bad in a Fantastic Four movie, which fans are eagerly hoping to see come to fruition. Marvel Studio’s Kevin Feige heard fans loud and clear and gave them what they asked for in Doctor Strange in The Multiverse of Madness when he cast John Krasinski as Reed Richards of the First Family as a member of the Illuminati. While there has been no casting news for a Fantastic Four project, Richards’ recent appearance gives fans a glimmer of hope.
Fans need not be discouraged about seeing their favorite bad guy in action as Doctor Doom’s reach certainly does not end there. It is rumored that fans may see him in the upcoming Black Panther: Wakanda Forever which is set to hit theaters on November 11.
