After the surprise smashing success of Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse in 2018, a sequel was quickly planned. Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse set for release soon, is expected to be ‘big’ according to film star Shameik Moore. Moore voices the main protagonist, Miles Morales. According to Entertainment Weekly, he watched it alongside costar Jake Johnson, who plays Peter B. Parker.

"Jake and I saw it together, and we were like, 'Wait, wait, wait,'" Moore recalls now. "'This is something special,'" Moore said after watching the film. Both Moore and Johnson, as well as Hailee Steinfield, who played Gwen Stacey, will all return to the sequel, as was seen in an earlier trailer."He just successfully saved his universe, so he's looking for another challenge, a super challenge that he can take on," Moore teases. "He's almost getting bored with the robbers and the petty thefts," Moore says of his character at the start of the sequel, which is set to take place about a year and a half after the original.

Other returning talent members include Miles’ parents Brian Tree Henry (Jefferson Davis), and Luna Lauren Velez (Rio Morales). New members of the cast include Oscar Isaac (Miguel O’Hara) and Issa Rae (Jessica Drew). Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse is set to be released on June 2nd of this year.
