Somehow, Kahmunrah has returned! At a time when it seems every movie series is bringing back old villains, the Night at The Museum series, a Live Action trilogy starring Ben Stiller as security guard Larry Daley has received an animated fourth movie. In this movie, Kahmunrah, the villain of the second film, returns once again to try to conquer the world. However, this time, Larry’s son Nick is in the protagonist's role. He takes the role of his father as the museum’s lead security guard and has to rally the other characters to stop Kahmunrah.

This is the first movie in the series since the third movie Night at The Museum: Secret of the Tomb released in 2014. The 1 hour, 17-minute feature was released to Disney Plus on December 9th. The cast is changed from the original live-action movies.
